“I was looking to buy my first home, and was referred to Alex by a friend.  Being very confused and uncertain about the whole process, Alex took his time, using different explanations and visual tools until I finally understood the difference between my borrowing capacity and my maximum purchase price. He outlined the consequences of borrowing different amounts and how they would each impact Stamp Duty, LMI and my cash flow.

We discussed different lenders and their various offers, and I was able to choose a lender that suited me. Alex then obtained pre-approval so that I could start attending auctions with clarity about how much I could spend, and certainty that any bid I placed would be honoured by the bank.

"My children and I had been renting a house for the last few years after a marriage breakdown. The house we were renting got sold and we were faced with renting again. This journey proved to be quite difficult in finding and acquiring a rental.

So by chance or more so frustration l decided to find a broker to see what l could borrow. I was a single mother of two children and ran my own business. I only had one good year of financials and was really waiting for the 2nd year, but time did not allow for this to occur.
